I've been found!
Did I ever tell you about the Assistant Manager from my job? He’s this really hot young Italian Guy. I mean, I can hardly contain myself at work most days… Oh, and he just found my blog the other day because he was looking up some of our wines that I happened to mention. Hi Carlo!
So the AM walks up to me today at work and says that he found my blog. The first thought in my head it “Shit! What have I been writing about lately? Anything bad?” Of course, I never write anything that I wouldn’t say to someone anyway, but still. That makes, what, 4 people that actually know me that know about this blog. That’s not too bad considering lots of people should be able to figure it out. How many mixed girls do you know that live here and work in the area I work? I’m really not trying to hide it, I’m just not telling anyone. Oh wait, I am hiding it from my Sis. She’d KILL me if she knew I a) had a blog and b) posted a picture of her daughter!
Enough about that. I’m getting my South East Asia trip all together. Lee and I have finally got the dates that we can go. Her family is all excited about it too. If her parents are there during Christmas, we are going to spend it with them. They usually go to Mexico and have invited me there a couple of times. Maybe next year I’ll spend my Christmas having margaritas with them. We have decided to fly into Manila, Philippines then take short trips to Thailand and either Cambodia or Vietnam. We still haven’t decided whether or not to go to Cambodia or Vietnam. On the way, I am going to try to visit my family. I want to see my niece while I’m on the west coast. My dad pulled a picture of me out of his wallet the other day (don’t know why he had one!) and asked my niece who it was. She said “SP Obachan (Aunt in Japanese).” Isn’t she cute?!?

I have my Project Runway recap up.
I wonder what it feels like for someone to discover your blog *lol* I pray my family never finds mine, they may start commenting if they do...
South Asia...that sounds exciting!
How long is that flight?
Hope you have fun. My mom is currently in Signapore and loving it. She's headed to Thailand this week.
*lol* SP: I thought that my blog's link to your link went bad. Turns out that somebody you know found your blog. *eek* I know what you mean. That's why I over-edit my blog to make it difficult for the folks I know to find my blog.
I wondered what happened to my link. My mom found me ... at first I was worried but now I don't care.
One of my buddies asked me for a link to my blog last week and I got all defensive. "What you want the link for? You don't even know what a blog is." I'm glad I'm not the only one that is protective over my personal internet space.
Mwabi – I’ll be checking you out!
Princess – It’s not the comments that I’m worried about, it’s feeling like I might have to censor myself.
Living Single – I am so exited that I can hardly contain myself!
NegroPino – I'm not sure, but i'm not looking forward to that part! With time change and plane changes, I think it’s probably 20 hours or so.
Miz JJ – Really? You are going to have to find out some great places for me to go.
Aziza – LOL! Yeah, I’m going to have to start doing that!
Chele – I don’t know what I would do if my mom found me!
Shawn – No one has asked for my link, but then again, they don’t even know I have a blog. I am protective over it too, but it seems weird since it’s all public and out there!
i've never thought about going to south asia but you make it sound like that's the place to be!
oh, and now damn near everybody in my fam reads my blog. in fact, my MOM reads it every now and again. i told her i wasn't gonna censure myself, so she had to prepare herself if she wanted to read about her daughter having sex and talking about fam.
busted! oh man i'm kind of afraid thats ggoing to happen to me lol
Nikki – I can’t wait to go. It should be an amazing cultural experince, plus it’s cheap once you get there.
Jdid – Just wait till JR gets old enough to start digging around the internet!
Do you feel concious of what you write now? I had a issue of some of my coworkers finding my blog and feeling like i was picking on white people too much. Of course they never said anything to me directly. But it's a headache b/c you find yourself censoring yourself.
Where you at? Why aren't you posting??
